The investigation through the brain death phenomenon, still remains a controversial topic in various scientific disciplines such as Neuroscience, Medicine, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Intensive Care, Biology, Philosophy, Psychology Theology and Legal Science.
Aim of this study is to investigate though the new upcoming Neusocientific findings regarding the approach and the validation of this biological situation. Using the modern scientific techniques, available in our armamentarium, such as Neuroradiology, Neurophysiology many topics of the Brain Death Phenomenon today, have a better demonstration and an accurate evidential support.
Today we are more than sure that that brain death equates to biological death.
This conclusion ,has profound various philosophical, religious, medical and legal implications that should lead the respective authorities into a continue close collaboration in order to establish modern and effective rules in order to achieve optimal and appropriate management of this situation.
