About the event

The British Association of Day Surgery Annual Conference 2026 will take place on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 June 2026 at the Royal Society of Medicine, London. This two-day flagship event brings together healthcare professionals involved in day surgery to explore current challenges, share best practice and highlight innovation in day-case care.

The programme will feature expert-led sessions on key topics including frailty, special patient circumstances, thromboembolism prophylaxis, day case robotics, ambulatory urgent surgery and the digital future of day surgery. Interactive workshops will cover post-operative pathways and criteria-led discharge, awake shoulder surgery and procedure room operating. Delegates will also have the opportunity to present their work through oral free paper sessions and the popular poster competition.
